Membership

Country Folks would like to invite you to come ride with us.

We enjoy our kids and horses. Having fun is the most

important thing you can do with your children.

Since 1983 Country Folks Saddle Club has been leading the way

in family orientated riding organizations. We have decided to address the

subject of our "horse rule" which states "That only members of a family living

in the same household and including grandchildren and married children may

compete in the same event on the same horse." We intend to keep this rule in place for

our competing members but have another level of participation.

The participation level is as follows:

A family that does not own a horse may join the club and pay full membership dues.

Members of this family, who desire to ride, will pay full event entry fees and ride

in a participation class that will be run after the regular classes and before exhibition.

They may be of any age and may ride another club member's horse. They will

upon correctly completing an event receive a participation ribbon with their name,

date, event and running time. They will have the same worker's rule but will receive

NO YEAR END AWARDS POINTS each family member that rides will be required

to ride in at least 5 events in a minimum of 5 of the 7 shows to quality for an

End of the year PARTICIPATION AWARD.
